25th International Convention of Students’ Quality Circle Underway in Lucknow

The 25th International Convention of Students’ Quality Circle (ICSQC) is underway at City Montessori School, Lucknow, from December 3-7, 2024. Themed “TQM in Education – An Initiative to Develop Total Quality Person,” it has attracted delegates from 14 countries, including 300 from Nepal led by QUEST Nepal. The event features debates, workshops, cultural evenings, and keynote sessions by 42 experts, concluding with a grand closing ceremony and farewell dinner.

The 25th International Convention of Students’ Quality Circle (ICSQC) has commenced with great enthusiasm at the City Montessori School (CMS), Kanpur Road Campus, Lucknow, Uttar Pradesh. Held from December 3 to December 7, 2024, the convention is themed “TQM in Education – An Initiative to Develop Total Quality Person.” This prestigious event has drawn delegates from 14 countries, making it a hub for global exchange and collaboration in education. Organized under the guiding motto “Total Quality Person,” the convention aims to instill principles of Total Quality Management (TQM) in education while fostering creativity, leadership, and teamwork among participants.

More than 300 delegates from Nepal, including teachers and distinguished guests, have joined the convention under the leadership of QUEST Nepal, a renowned organization promoting quality education. The event was inaugurated by Chief Guest Joseph Emmanuel, Chief Executive & Secretary of the Council for Indian School Certification Examination (CISE), who emphasized the importance of adopting TQM principles to develop individuals who excel academically, socially, and personally. Adding to the intellectual rigor of the event, 42 prominent speakers specializing in various disciplines of education are sharing their expertise in workshops, keynote addresses, and interactive sessions.

A wide array of programs and competitions has been designed to engage students and educators alike. Activities such as debates, collage-making competitions, street plays, quizzes, case study presentations, and paper presentations are providing students with a platform to showcase their talents and ideas.
